The first couple of months of this lil guys life he cried quite a bit, but I just kept telling myself if we could get through it he would seem that much better. He is an AWESOME baby and we all love him to death. He loves to smile and growl and he gives us a natural high. Theres just something about having a bright eyed little baby around that just makes life sweet. I cant believe how fast the last 4 months have gone and I dont want him to grow up so fast. I just want to take every day as it comes and enjoy it as much as I can. After 4 kids I have finally trained one to sleep in his own bed. I can even just lay him on the floor when he is happy at night and he will roll around and babble untill he falls asleep. I couldnt get him to talk and babble as much as he usually does in the little clip, but one day hopefully I can capture it. When I hold him and play with him it takes me back to when all of my kids were babies and I realize how fast time really flies. I love them all so much and have learned not to forget to enjoy the here and now because tomorrow it is gone. We love you little guy.
Well after a long weekend in Idaho and Wyoming, the next day was an early morning getting ready for another year of school. It's crazy to think my kids are both in all day school now. They both love their teachers and are excited to be back with their friends. Hopefully I can be better at scheduling out their time this year. Our carpool buddies came with us the first day, too.
When I returned home from NM my husband was there to greet me with 2 dozen beautiful roses and 18 huge Costco cupcakes. I also got to meet my newest little nephew (trish and codys) Maxwell. He is so tiny and sweet!!
The saturday after the 24th was spent with Ryans family. We went up Santquin canyon and had a picnic and the kids got really dirty playing in the little river nearby. It is always great to visit with family in such a relaxed setting. My little ones were all soaked, so they rode back to Mona in their underwear and when we got there they all wore papas work shirts. They were so cute all running around in the huge shirts on grandma and papas new grass. Their backyard is really something. Pa has put in a huge waterfall, lots of plants and trees, a zip line, and has plans to build a club house with slide in the future. I am always amazed at the things that man comes up with and then builds just out of his head. We stayed until that evening to watch the fireworks show put on by Mona city and let me tell ya I was quite shocked at what a great show it was especially for a town that small. We had a great time and are looking forward to next years show.
