On May 5 , 2009 we said goodbye to someone very dear to our hearts. Ryans Grandma Clove was a wonderfully sweet spirit whom everyone loved and adored. She was always such a ray of sunshine when we would visit them in St. George. She was a wonderful cook and I was always amazed at the wonderful things she could cook up given the lack of her sense of smell. She always had the most wonderfully decorated front window at Christmas time and she loved this Holiday most of all. It fit her because she was always such a giving woman. She will be missed by many, especially her husband. We know that we will see her again one day and will be excited for that reuniting. I am so blessed that I was able to get to meet and know this wonderful person even if it was only through a few visits here and there and cards exchanged at Christmastime, but I know that my husbands love for his grandma is very strong and because of the stories he shared I feel that I know her even better.
We attended her funeral on May 16 2009 in St. George Utah. My children attended the funeral with us and I look forward the the day they can get to know their Great Grandma Clove even better. We love and miss you.
