Like Mother Like Daughter

So, we were in Costco tonight and as we were heading over to a display of Modestee dresses I looked up at a picture of a girl in one of the dresses they were selling--little did I know (being that Ryan and Sarah were behind me) that at that very moment Ryan had naturally looked up at the display as well only to hear little Sarah say "Dad, you think hers hot!!" When he told me this later in the store, I thought it was so hilarious, because I know she has heard me tell her daddy that on numerous occasions. You must really watch what you say-kids pick up on way more that you realize and they don't know that you are only kidding when you say these things.

I just couldn't let a year go by without posting our traditional cookie making pictures. This is a tradition passed down from my family and was always one of my favorite things growing up. My kids and husband love it just like me!!

Seth and Easton always do such a wonderful job at their annual Christmas Program. They always say that they don't care if I come and watch them, but when they see me their faces light up! I love to go and see the things they learn and how they excel at all they do. I love my boys!

11 Awesome years with the one I love 10-30-2009

I know this pic is so blurry but it's the only one I have. Calli watched our kids for us while we went out. It is so nice and rare to get away with no children and yet in these last 11 years my most precious blessings have been those of my husband and children. I cannot be thankful enough for my wonderful husband Ryan and the 4 beautiful little ones we have. I love my man, I love my kids and I love my life. What more is there to say - except I can't wait for all of the wonderful moments and memories to come.

Deer Hunt Fall 2009 (yes 2009)

We just hurried up to a spot -I think it was the last day of the rifle hunt-to see if we could get lucky. We found does but no bucks. I think the kids had a fun time on the Rhino and 4-wheeler. It was quick and we knew we probably would'nt be lucky enough to get one in the few hours we went out, but I really hope one day soon the boys can be with their dad when he does get one. I think this was Cole's first hunt to go out on!! I know we saw some other animals, but it's been so long ago now I can't remember what they were. Love to be in the outdoors with my husband and kids.
