Wednesday night I got to sneak off from the reunion
and see my best friend from TX. The kids stayed in mona while
Ry and I and my sis Calli went with her and her husband
to dinner and then out for sno cones. She was staying in
Orem with her brother and his wife who we were also
able to sit and visit with that night. It is so great to
see old friends-it sure takes you back to when you were
young. I miss having her around and the sweet nature
she exudes. There is just something about those TX folk
that makes you just want to go back to TX with them.
Friday--Yuba Lake
Well it was windy and a little chili, but we still had fun.
Saturday morning I got up and ran the Springville 5k with Calli. Thanks for inviting me to
come and enjoy the pain that comes when you haven't been running much and you try to
bust one of these out (that explains the extremely red face). Back in Mona the rest of the gang ran their own 5k and all did very well.
Saturday afternoon we had the Beatty Olympics. Each family competed in various games and got points for any one they won.

June 4-7 was a blast for all who attended. Big thanks go out to Debbie and Lance for all their hard work and dedication to get this whole thing together. Thanks also to Ma and Pa Beatty for letting us all crash their pad for 4 days.
